I won’t be able to explain why I love someone so much and desire to bond with them to this extent. The feeling of having a conversation with someone who shares similar thoughts, receiving care and attention every time I’m unwell, witnessing frantic concern whenever I face challenges, being indulged and comforted for my emotions, and feeling at ease wearing oversized pajamas that I know they’ll find adorable – these emotions are beyond explanation.
All these feelings make me feel at ease, knowing that this is the person I want to see every day throughout my life.
You can dream, and I can love my current job immensely. Then, we choose to set aside those dreams, to be together. You choose stability over jumping around, and I choose a different job to be close to you. It turns out that loving someone is also about: every choice in life will have the shadow of the other person.
